Kanako Penthouse Sauna Monzen-Nakacho is a furnished penthouse in Tokyo, offering approximately 100 m² of private space across three levels. Separate areas for sleeping, working, dining, wellness and outdoor relaxation make the residence practical for extended stays while preserving the character of a private urban retreat.

Designed for families, groups and longer stays, the penthouse combines the privacy of an apartment with distinctive wellness facilities rarely found in central Tokyo. Guests can relax in the sauna, enjoy quiet evenings on the rooftop, prepare meals in the fully equipped kitchen and explore Tokyo with convenient access to two major subway lines.

The residence extends across multiple levels, with separate areas for sleeping, dining, relaxation, and outdoor enjoyment.

Three-Level Penthouse Layout
3F: Main bedroom, additional sleeping area with two single futons, private sauna, cold-plunge bath, relaxation area, shower, bathtub, and toilet.
4F: Spacious living and dining area, full kitchen, two single Murphy beds, workspace, and second toilet.
5F: Furnished private rooftop terrace and outdoor relaxation area.

Sleeping arrangements include one queen bed (160 × 200 cm), two single futons (90 × 200 cm each), and two single Murphy beds (90 × 200 cm each).　Above the apartment, the furnished rooftop terrace provides a private outdoor space for relaxing.

Please note that the apartment begins on the third floor and the building does not have an elevator. Guests must use the stairs.

Private Sauna and Relaxation 
Enjoy a complete sauna experience without sharing the facilities with other residents or visitors. Move at your own pace from the private sauna to the cold-plunge bath and adjacent relaxation space. Self-löyly is available using only water or sauna fragrance provided or approved by the operator. Guests with tattoos are welcome. The cold-plunge bath is normally maintained at approximately 14–16°C, or around 16–18°C in warmer weather. Actual temperature may vary with weather and operating conditions. After the sauna, relax on the mats or beanbag, watch the Smart TV, listen to music through the Bluetooth speaker or enjoy quiet time on the rooftop.

Facilities for Extended Stays
The residence includes complimentary Wi-Fi, air conditioning, heating, a fully equipped kitchen, refrigerator, microwave, stove, rice cooker, coffee maker, tableware, washer, hair dryer, iron, clothing storage, and a dedicated workspace. There are two toilets, one bathtub and one separate shower.
The furnished rooftop is intended for quiet relaxation. Guests must keep noise low, particularly in the evening. Smoking is prohibited inside, in common areas, and around the entrance. It is permitted only in the designated rooftop area.

Important Access Information
The building does not have an elevator. The residence begins on the third floor, and all levels are connected by stairs. This property may not be suitable for guests with limited mobility. External airport luggage-delivery services may be useful.
The second floor is occupied by a dental clinic. Residents and guests must not enter the clinic unless they have an appointment. Check-in and check-out are contactless, and there is no front desk or resident staff.

Monzen-Nakacho combines traditional Tokyo atmosphere with practical daily living. Tomioka Hachimangu Shrine and Fukagawa Fudō-dō Temple are nearby, while the station area offers supermarkets, cafés, bakeries, izakayas, sushi, ramen and neighbourhood restaurants. Canal-side walks, traditional shopping streets and the wider Fukagawa area create a relaxed setting for a longer Tokyo stay.
Tokyo Metro Tozai Line Exit 1 is approximately two minutes away. Use Exit 2 for elevator access. Toei Oedo Line Exit 4, which has an elevator, is approximately six minutes away. Nihombashi is about 8 minutes away; Tokyo Station and Ginza about 10 minutes; and Asakusa, Akihabara and Ueno about 20 minutes. Times are approximate and vary by route and connections.
