What temperature should the electric underfloor heating be set?
Approximately 21 – 25°C
Should underfloor heating be left on all the time?
It is advised that in the depths of winter, an underfloor heating system should be kept on at all times. However, it should be at different temperatures depending on usage and activity in the house.
This is because underfloor heating can take two to three hours to warm up, so it is best to not completely turn it off.

Rules and Manners

Since Estonian people generally do not expect foreigners to understand customs and nuances, they will be pleasantly surprised when they see that you are well-mannered and that you are striving to be a good neighbor to them in the best way you can.
That is why we are here to introduce you to some of the basic tips about Estonian everyday life and manners, and some for the apartment.
1. Self-check-in; Please come to the apartment by yourself. We will advise you on the location details and maps. For your convenience, we can arrange the apartment for late-night or early-morning arrivals with an extra charge.
2. Please DO NOT lose the apartment key, you will be charged 200 € each.
3. NO SMOKING inside the apartment or on the balcony. Standing and smoking in front of the building entrance is not allowed either. The penalty of 500 € for any disturbance. Thank you for understanding and for not smoking.
4. You must separate the garbage; combustible everyday garbage, recyclables (cans and plastic bottles, and glass), and non-combustible items. You can find enough trash cans and instructions at the apartment.
5. Please use furniture and bedding with care. In the event of damage or staining, please notify us immediately. If furniture, bedding, and fixtures are soiled by vomiting, etc., a flat fee of 500 € will be charged regardless of the reason for the damage.
6. Please DO NOT take home any interior furnishings or equipment (toilet paper, etc.) from the room.
7. Security; Please lock the door when you are in or out, better safe than sorry. Nobody is allowed to enter the apartment other than you, your co-travelers (whom you have told us about), and us.
8. Absolutely no partying and gatherings at the apartment, please respect your neighbors.
9. Please keep in mind that this is a residential complex, not a hotel. Please don’t eat or drink in the elevator or the common area of the building.
10. Please take your shoes off when you enter someone’s home (including the room of the apartment).
11. Please turn off the lights and heating when you are not in the apartment; the same applies to other electrical appliances.
12. The whole apartment will be yours to use. Please take good care of it and enjoy it.

13. When you run into your neighbors, “tere” with a little smile is always a good greeting.
14. Check-out time is fixed for a reason; this means you have to check out and cannot leave your luggage around. In case you have a late flight, please consult for a suitable solution. Keeping the cleaning waiting will cost 50€ from 11:15 am.
15. Additional House cleaning is possible for longer rentals for an additional charge during your stay, but please remember this is not a hotel!
16. No illegal activities!
Here are some points when exploring around 🙂
* Don’t expect emotionally warm customer service everywhere. While standards are improving and the service quality is high in the tourist areas, there are still occasions on which service is frosty – if not downright rude. 😉
* Estonians are quite formal and may come across as a little bit cold (or even unfriendly!) to people from more informal cultures, but this is not true. Once the relationship warms up, the communication style becomes a lot less stiff, yo.
* You should also pay attention to the language you use. Asking a general question will almost get you no answers; be specific in your inquiry.

* When you wish to drive in Estonia, you would need an international driver’s license and a road insurance document. In large cities and historic centers, you have to pay for parking.

Thank you for actually reading all the above and choosing my apartment.
I hope you will have a wonderful time while in Estonia

Thank you
