Thank you very much for your reservation at CraftFlat Apartments
I hope you will have a pleasant arrival!
PLEASE TAKE SOME TIME AND READ through the information below to make your arrival at the apartment as smooth as possible.
* The whole apartment will be yours to use. Please take good care of it and enjoy it.
* When you run into your neighbors, “tere” with a little smile is always a good greeting.
* Estonians appreciate the silence even more than people in your home country might.
Please respect that when your check-in is late at night or early morning, please behave silently.
* This is not a hotel!
Please keep in mind that this is a residential complex, not a hotel. When you have any questions, please contact us.
* Absolutely no partying and gatherings at the apartment, please respect your neighbors.
* Take your shoes off when you enter someone’s home!
* Be green!
Please turn off the lights/heating while you are not in the apartment; the same applies to other electrical appliances.
*** You must separate the garbage: burnable everyday garbage, recyclables (cans and plastic bottles, and glass), and non-burnable items. House manual will be emailed separately***
* Self-check-in:
For your convenience, we can arrange the Apartment for late-night or early-morning arrivals. It is your responsibility to find the place, but don’t worry, we will advise you of the location details and maps. Please make sure to save everything prior to arrival.
* NO SMOKING inside the house or on the windows. Standing and smoking in front of and back of the building entrance is also not allowed. The penalty of 500€ for any disturbance. Thank you for understanding and for not smoking.* No funny business about the number of guests. We are very strict about that. We consider people of any age as a guests. When your booking is for X number of guests, we expect X number of guests to be in the Apartment.
* Security.
Please lock the door when you are in or out, better safe than sorry. Other than you, your co-travelers (whom you have advised us about), and we should not enter the apartment.
* Please DON’T lose the apartment key magnet pad, you will be charged 200€ each.
* Check-out time is fixed for a reason; this means you have to check out and cannot leave your luggage around. In case you have a late flight, please consult for a suitable solution.
Keeping the cleaning waiting will cost 50€ from 11:15 am.
* Additional House cleaning is possible for longer rentals for an additional charge during your stay, but please remember this is not a hotel!
* No illegal activities!
* Don’t expect emotionally warm customer service everywhere. While standards are improving and the service quality is high in the tourist areas, there are still occasions on which service is frosty – if not downright rude. 😉
* Estonians are quite formal and may come across as a little bit cold (or even unfriendly!) to people from more informal cultures, but this is not true. Once the relationship warms up, the communication style becomes a lot less stiff, yo.
* You should also pay attention to the language you use. Asking a general question will almost get you no answers; be specific in your inquiry.
* When you wish to drive in Estonia, you would need an international driver’s license and a road insurance document. In large cities and historic centers, you have to pay for parking.
Thank you for actually reading all the above and choosing my apartment. I hope you will have a wonderful time while in Estonia!
Estonian law requires hotels and other accommodation providers to collect certain information from guests during registration, primarily for tourism tax and reporting purposes.
Guest registration involves providing local authorities with details about individuals staying in your accommodations, such as vacation rentals. It is an essential process that helps ensure the safety and security of both guests and the local community. Accurate guest information allows authorities to:
- Respond effectively in emergencies
- Monitor for any unlawful activities
- Maintain order in residential areas
Thus, guest registration not only complies with legal requirements but also helps create a safe and enjoyable environment for everyone.
